Gameheads is a tech training program that equips young people of color with the tech and life skills they need to succeed at school, in their careers, and beyond.

Through video game design and development, we get youth of color and low-income youth (15-25) ready for careers in technology and electronic entertainment. Our program combines advanced design and development training, education and career counseling, industry exposure, and mentorship from industry professionals. We teach participants to create, code and design games, building skills across specific fields necessary to thrive in technology, from coding to visual art, creative writing, design thinking, project management, team building, animation, game theory and more. In the process, we help them graduate from high school, enroll into postsecondary education, and prepare for careers in STEAM.
