JYCA Organizing Group (OG): OG is a program created and led by youth to work towards progressive social change. We seek to educate, empower and inspire political, social, environmental and cultural awareness and action in young activists, guided by Jewish values of social justice. OG is comprised of youth leaders who have completed the Leadership Group in Training (LGiT). In addition to continuing to learn about oppression and privilege, OG learns facilitation, leadership, and campaign skills. They facilitate LGiT, take action for social justice in partnership with community organizations and do recruitment to get more young people involved with JYCA. OG runs from September through June which also includes  three weekend retreats, twelve workshops and small group committee meetings . . . all packed with lots of fun and learning.

Enrolling Youth: In past years we have had a sliding scale fee to participate in the OG program. This year, in an effort to be more accessible to all youth and families, we are moving to a TAX DEDUCTIBLE donation! The support of our participating families is still essential to the success of our program and we encourage a donation of $1,800-$3,600 for every youth participating in OG. To ensure that JYCA is accessible for all, w e request that all families with the means to do so contribute at the high end of (or beyond) the donation range. If you would like to sign a youth up for OG without making a financial contribution you may do so by emailing info@jycajustice.org.

Installment Plan: Your donation can be made in monthly installments over the course of nine months. If you would like to do this, divide your chosen donation by nine and list that amount in the "Other" box. Then choose to make your contribution recurring and you will only be charged that amount for nine months. For example: If you wanted to donate $2,700 in total, you would put $300 ($2,700 divided by 9) in the other box and make the donation recurring.
