Hems & Brims, a fiscally sponsored project of Community Initiatives, empowers the next generation of Black fashion creatives by providing resources, mentorship and opportunities.

Our virtual mentorship program for Black teens ages 14-18 connects students to fashion education, mentorship, and career readiness opportunities with established fashion professionals.

  • Scholarships for fashion programs
  • Transportation to internships and networking events
