At Streets Forward, we're making it safe, fast, and easy to get around San Francisco through grassroots organizing, public policy research, and advocacy focused on evidence-based policy and infrastructure.

Our work helped make Golden Gate Park's JFK Promenade permanently car-free, transform Upper Great Highway into Sunset Dunes Park, get curbside parking-protected bike lanes installed on Valencia Street, an city e-bike incentive fund established, and a Board of Supervisors resolution calling for a citywide No Turn on Red policy passed unanimously, and bike buses launched throughout San Francisco, among other accomplishments.
