Thanks to generous contributions from individuals like yourself, we have provided support for caregivers and advocates for big cats through:
- Continuing education through webinars and our annual conference,
- Providing a vital support network of like-minded colleagues, and
- We have built a network of advocates to be the voice for captive big cats including on the federal level – working to encourage the passage of the Big Cat Public Safety Act.
In just 5 years since our founding, the BCSA has provided so much help to the helpers in the animal sanctuary community. And yet, with your continued support, there is so much more we can do to continue helping our member organizations with the vital work that they do! Feedback from our most recent conference including: “While we all have unique experiences and challenges, we all work towards the same goal. Together, we can make good things happen”, highlights the importance of continually learning from and networking with each other.
