At Streets Forward, we're making it safer and faster to walk, bike, and take public transit in San Francisco through grassroots organizing, public policy research, and principled advocacy focused on proven infrastructure and policy.

Our work helped make Golden Gate Park's JFK Promenade permanently car-free, transform Upper Great Highway into the full-time, oceanfront park Sunset Dunes, have curbside protected bike lanes installed on Valencia Street, get an e-bike incentive fund and a resolution calling for a citywide No Turn on Red policy unanimously approved by the Board of Supervisors, and launch numerous bike buses throughout San Francisco, among other accomplishments.
We have a citywide, transformative vision for San Francisco and we're excited—and determined—to make it a reality.
