Help Farms, Help Our Planet!

Small Farms are critical partners of the environment with a special role in its stewardship and as agents of climate stabilization. Please donate to provide grants for 2022 sustainability projects. #SmallFarmsBigImpacts

Farmers have been hit hard by losses, inflation, and climate crises during the pandemic and they need all the help they can get. Sustainable farms can help reduce carbon emissions, save water, curb pollution, and boost biodiversity. 

The FruitGuys Community Fund has an anonymous donor who has pledged $15,000 in matching funds. Our goal is to meet or exceed those funds. Please consider making a tax-deductible donation, 100% of your donation goes to the grants, to help fund as many farms’ worthy projects as possible.

Grants fund all types of projects, for example:

  • Solar-powered installations
  • Drip-irrigation systems
  • Pollinator and beneficial habitat 
  • Soil health and biodiversity projects
  • Growing season extension projects
  • Natural / IPM pest management
  • Equity (access to food; employment)

Learn more about one of our 2020 Community Fund Grantees,  Coffee Pot Farms located in the Navajo Nation in Arizona:

 

Coffee Pot received a $5K grant to install a solar power system to reduce food waste and increase efficiency.
