Support Latino Outdoors Austin's 3rd Annual Women's Fly Fishing Campout.

From March 20 - 22 LO Austin will host 20 BIPOC women for an all expenses paid weekend of learning how to Fly Fish on the Pedernales River. This weekend campout will empower women to learn fly fishing in a supportive, mentor-led environment. They will build confidence on the water, community with peers, and become lifelong stewardship of Texas rivers. Through small-group instruction, hands-on practice, and guided time on the Pedernales River, participants gain the skills and the spark to keep fishing, volunteering, and caring for our waterways long after the weekend ends. Your support will help purchases rod kits and fly fishing gear needed for our beginner anglers.

Our brand new anglers will learn:

Core fly skills: basic casting, knots, entomology, reading water
River Conservation & Angler Ethics: fish handling, habitat awareness, how angling dollars support conservation
Confidence & Community: how to plan for future fishing, how to tap into angler community
