SUPPORT A VOICE FOR CHILDREN IN SFUSD
With a bit of your help, this network of committed parents and community supporters can turn San Francisco's public schools into a national beacon of excellence for all kids. When you donate to SF Parent Coalition, you are enabling our actions and organizing to:
- Fully reopen all schools, including before and after care, sports, clubs and other beloved student activities.
- Pick up the pieces of the negative academic, social and health impacts of prolonged school closures on children, including the deeper impacts on long-standing inequities in the system.
- Hold the district and city accountable to doing everything they can to support the vast and diverse needs of our public school children and families.
- Create a new, unifying vision and build support for a path forward to excellent San Francisco public schools for all kids.
Who will speak up for our city's public school children if we don't?
Your donation through Community Initiatives (they are our fiscal sponsor) today directly supports our organizing and advocacy work and will be applied where most urgently needed. There is no more important school year for the city's children than 2021-2022. Let's make it an excellent one, together.
A portion of your donation will go to the SF Parents Education Equity Fund. This fund will raise money for SFUSD schools that serve large numbers of students and families impacted by poverty and racial disparities currently baked into the system. Our Education Equity Fund Committee will select schools and projects to fund based on parent and community input.
