At Streets Forward, we're making it safer and faster to walk, bike, and take public transit in San Francisco through grassroots organizing, public policy research, and principled advocacy focused on proven infrastructure and policy.

Our work helped make Golden Gate Park's JFK Promenade permanently car-free, transform Upper Great Highway into an oceanfront park, Sunset Dunes, get curbside protected bike lanes installed on Valencia Street, create an e-bike incentive fund established, and get the Board of Supervisors to unanimously support a citywide No Turn on Red policy, and launch bike buses throughout San Francisco, among other accomplishments.
