Call to Action: Support the Nexel Collaborative NOW

   Since 2020, The Nexel Collaborative has inspired academic leaders to consider how to develop a midlife transition program on their college or university campus. Steered by leaders from like-minded programs at Stanford, Notre Dame, UT Austin, IU Kokomo, Oxford, and others, the initiative has witnessed the birth of a dozen new programs among its growing membership of diverse public and private institutions across North America and Europe.

   The benefits of these programs to the participants, to the school, and to society are multifold. Now, you have the opportunity to help us further our mission to build a global alliance of higher educational institutions serving a longer, healthier lifespan. The Nexel is at a turning point with a need to expand our efforts in marketing, strategic planning, producing and sharing resources, hosting events and offering interactive workshops; all with the goal of democratizing the movement and fostering more programs around the world. 

   As with any nonprofit startup organization, funding is an ongoing concern. To date, the Collaborative has been supported entirely by philanthropic and member contributions. It is not yet self supporting. In order to continue this critical work, we would so appreciate your tax-deductible contribution to help us meet our immediate goal to raise $20,000 by June 30, 2023, our fiscal year end. We would be thrilled to receive any amount of your choice, either anonymously or with recognition on our website and/or at our next public forum, scheduled for the end of May, 2023.
