On September 25th Candace Gonzales will run 50 kilometers as part of the Bear Chase Trail Races in Lakewood, Colorado to raise funds for Latino Outdoors. Your donation to Candace's run will ensure that more Latinx families and individuals are able to hit the trail running, hiking, biking, and so much more.
Latino Outdoors is part of a growing movement to make outdoor recreation more inclusive. Our aim is to increase access to nature for Latinx communities and diversify outdoor narratives. We facilitate free, family-friendly outdoor experiences for underrepresented communities across the country and take kids, tíos, primos, friends and neighbors outside to hike, picnic, fish, kayak, camp y más. Your donation brings us one step closer to fulfilling our vision of a world where all Latino communities have access to nature and see the outdoors as a safe, inclusive, and welcoming place.

There have been times on the trail that I've felt intimidated because I was the only Latinx runner. All humans should experience the pure joy you get from running or hiking on trails with the sun shinning on your face and the mountains as your backdrop.
