The 4th Line is the Heartbeat of Any Hockey Team!

In hockey, the fourth line often embodies the spirit of teamwork, grit, and determination. These players may not always be in the spotlight, but their contributions are vital to the overall success of the team. They bring energy, toughness, and a relentless work ethic, often setting the tone for the game and providing crucial support to their teammates.

Sadly, many BIPOC players are often overlooked, relegated to the fourth line despite their talent and potential. In this role, they demonstrate resilience, showcasing skills that can change the dynamics of the game, yet their contributions may go unrecognized.

At the 4th Line Foundation, we believe that this same spirit can transform the landscape of ice hockey for BIPOC and underserved youth. Just as the fourth line plays a crucial role in the dynamics of a team, our foundation is committed to creating opportunities for young athletes who have been historically marginalized in the sport. By fostering inclusivity and providing resources, mentorship, and access to ice hockey, we aim to empower the next generation of players to discover their passion and potential on and off the ice.

Mission Statement

The 4th Line Foundation is dedicated to creating inclusive and equitable athletic environments for young athletes in Northern California. We focus on the holistic development of BIPOC and underprivileged youth through the sport of ice hockey, promoting access to opportunities, fostering personal growth, and ensuring that all players can thrive in a supportive, discrimination-free environment. Our mission is to empower the next generation of athletes, helping them build skills, confidence, and a lifelong passion for the game.

Together, we can ensure that every aspiring athlete has a place in the game, recognizing their contributions and strengthening the hockey community from the ground up.
